Since founding MEAD Electronics Inc., I have provided engineering services and products to our customers that require solutions in design, programming, and testing.

As a product solution provider, products produced by MEAD Electronics Inc. have included data acquisition controllers, life test systems, UL qualification testers, industrial signal conditioners, and power switching / supply modules.

As an engineering service provider, my broad background has provided me with the ability to take a product from concept though final production.  Key aspects of abilities include designing for reliability, manufacturing, testing, thermal analysis, and regulatory agency approval for UL and CE.  My customers’ fields have included industrial, appliance, automotive, military, aerospace, medical, and telecommunication.

My engineering specialties have included designing analog, digital, mixed signal, and microprocessor based circuitry.  Key product lines developed for industrial and medical instrumentation, sensor signal conditioning, and test set data acquisition.  Controls designed for motor and load switching of high voltage / current for both AC and DC.

Programming development for products sold by MEAD Electronics Inc. has been done in LabVIEW, Visual Studios,, and C.  Applications for Windows, CE, and embedded microcontrollers with key development in instrumentation control, data analysis, scientific instrumentation, charting, and communications.

From 2000 to 2003, I consulted for IDEXX Labs and provided engineering for the design and development of a hematology laser-flow cytometer.  In 1999 I was the lead consultant engineer for the design and development of the Siemens’ PowerHouse Electronic Power Control System.

Prior to stating my company, I was with AVEX Electronics for 10 years from 1983 to 1993, working within the Component, Test, and Design Engineering groups in support of a world class high volume contract manufacturer.

I graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, UAH, in 1992 with my B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
